TO MY CHAGRIN – Written and performed by Peggy Shaw
PS 122 - To My Chagrin -- Closes October 26
The problem with a title like this is that it begs to be included in a critique.
Peggy Shaw wants us to know that she is intelligent, gay, physically fit, and a sexy grandmother. She likes old trucks and live drums. She loves her grandson - so much so that she opens her shirt and lets us watch a 30 second video of him projected on her bare chest.
There is no story, no dots to connect. There is a mildly interesting woman wandering around in the most brightly lit corner of the room for 80 minutes.
It's really a Personals Ad.
